After our team experienced problems with various brand starters, DBR Performance and Machine originated in 2005 with the introduction of our first product, a Bert/Brinn mount gear reduction starter.Following extensive testing on our car as well as other teams cars, we developed a quality starter that we could sell at a competitive price. Our low overhead allows us to keep prices low, and we stand behind our products so racers can buy with confidence.

DBR has been in business of building high performance starters for four years now. Owners Kevin and Seth Daniel, are racers who understand what it takes to build a starter that will last.
